Private Proxies

By

When it comes to online security there is a lot to think about.

  1. Antivirus
  2. Malware
  3. Spyware

Check out Eset Nod32 to help with that choice.

But that’s only protecting you from those that can harm your computer, but you’re thinking, well isn’t that all I need?

Answer, sorta, most people don’t mind that others can track them by means of their IP address but I do.

For those that do not know what your IP is let me give you a quick explanation.

Think of your ISP as your online mailing address. Doing a quick IP search will show you the city and state in which someone lives. If someone really needs to find you, say the police they can contact the local ISP (Internet Service Provider) giving off the IP adderss and if they are authorized they can get your exact home address from your ISP.

But now just the police know how to do this and since it’s considered public information anyone who doesn’t a quick Google search can find a lot more information on you then you might think even though they didn’t infect your computer and steal the information from you.

BUT there is a solution that can greatly complicate this task for those who are trying to get information on you. The type of protection that I am talking about is “Private Proxies”.

When you purchase a Private Proxy service you are given IP’s that you place in from of yours (sounds crazy but it’s crazy easy to do). If you think that you are not technical enough to mess with private proxies let me diminish your fears. First Google whatever browser you are using “my browser internet options” . This will get your the internet options menu to pop up. Go to the advanced tab, click “lan settings”  check the box that has “use proxy…..” next to it. Then click the “advanced” button simply insert the proxy you are using and you are done!

With Private Proxies you are hidden, that proxy that you just started using will hide your real one. You can now surfing anonymously. Check out the image below for a visual on how a Private Proxy works.

If you want to learn more then I recommend that you check this site out: Scrapebox Proxies
